Introduction to Mindfulness

6-week Live-Streaming Class on Zoom

The purpose of mindfulness meditation is to become mindful throughout all parts of our life, so that we’re awake, present and openhearted in everything we do.

Are you:

  • Interested in learning what mindfulness is and how it can benefit you?

  • Curious to learn how mindfulness can fit into your life?

  • Hesitant to commit to a longer program?

  • Eager to explore a variety of practices in a condensed format?

  • Wishing for a mindfulness refresher?

Mindfulness practices can help us to increase our ability to regulate emotions, decrease stress, anxiety and depression. It can also help us to focus our attention, as well as to observe our thoughts and feelings without judgment.

Held live via Zoom, this 6-week course explores what mindfulness is (and isn’t) through direct experience and discussion. Each week we will investigate a different aspect of mindfulness and its implications for your life.

Weekly topics include:

What is Mindfulness

Mindfulness of the Breath

Mindfulness of the Body

Mindfulness of Thoughts

Mindfulness of Emotions

Mindfulness of Awareness
